Canada’s Start-up Visa Program targets immigrant entrepreneurs who want to become Permanent Residents in Canada with the skills and potential to build businesses in Canada that are innovative, can create jobs for Canadians, and can establish on a global scale to help develop the economy of Canada.

- Have an eligible profession
- Attain a letter of support from a designated organization
- Fulfill the language requirements
- Own sufficient financial sources to establish yourself in Canada
This program allows people to immigrate to Canada on self-employed experience in cultural activities or athletics. The applicants must be willing and able to make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life of Canada.
Relevant experience of at least two years is required. It must be during the time starting 5 years before the day you apply.
